Fourteen-year-old Laguna Beach resident Hayley Hodson and her partner Chrissy Jones of Lakewood swept the 16U division of the California Beach Volleyball Association Huntington Beach on Sunday, June 5.
With a record of 8-0, the girls, 6′-1″ and 6′-2″, respectively, beat girls two years their senior.
Recently, Hodson and Jones also made the USA Volleyball National High Performance Select Team for the second year in a row and next month will play in Tucson. The program that is the youth pipeline for the U.S. Olympic team.
