Laguna (1-3) completed their participation in the Corona del Mar tournament going 1-2 in the games last week. On Wednesday, Dec. 3 they rallied from a 22-6 deficit at the intermission against Dana Hills to nearly upset the Dolphins, losing 27-25. On Friday, Dec. 5, they easily took Irvine 40-28 as Alexandra Lewis scored 27 points including five three-point shots. The junior is already the career three-point shooter in LBHS history. In their final game played on Saturday, Dec. 6 at CdM, the Breakers were edged by La Quinta/Westminster 32-29 as their late game rally fell short. Against the Aztecs, Laguna was down 28-14 before going on a 15-4 run.
