Avran Fine Art exhibits glass sculptures by artists László Lukácsi and Péter Borkovics beginning Saturday, Oct. 1, with a 6-9 p.m. reception. Both artists will be in attendance to discuss their work and the complicated process involved in creating such works at the Laguna Beach gallery, 540 S. Coast Highway.

Lukácsi’s fluid, organic shapes and optic illusions reveal his vision and the laborious techniques involved.

Borkovics is a synthesizing designer solving problems with creativity.

Two artists, one looking just like the other, will paint on the same canvas at the Forest & Ocean Gallery during the Thursday, Oct. 6 Artwalk.

JoAnn Unger and Jacqueline Blue, well-established artists and identical twins, will demonstrate how they created their new series “Wave Studies,” where their individual styles will combine in what they describe as “a splash of eloquent statement.”

Beginning at 6 p.m., the gallery will unveil these works, and the sisters will give a live presentation of how two creative minds merge to produce a singular canvas.
