Actress Jane Lynch is one of many stars expected to attend a celebrity benefit at the Festival of Arts and Pageant of the Masters, Saturday, Aug. 27, the final weekend of the summer season.
Guests will receive a red carpet welcome at 650 Laguna Canyon Road and be treated to fine art, entertainment and a special performance of the Pageant of the Masters production “Partners.” Proceeds will support renovations of the festival grounds.
Accompanied by a five-piece band, Lynch will show off her musical and comedic ability with a live performance.
Lynch will also draw the winning ticket of a summer-long raffle for a $35,662 2016 Acura. Tickets will be available for sale until 8 p.m.

Soul Night Lights Up Brewery and Grille
If you believe live bands make for a better night of grooving than a DJ, here’s a chance to show it with your dancing shoes.
The artists of Blue Dream Productions, all-star Los Angeles musicians, will perform classic hits of soul and R & B music from 9 p.m. to midnight Saturday, Aug. 27, at Laguna Beach Brewery and Grille, 237 Ocean Ave.
The group includes rising star vocalist, Raquel Rodriguez, who tours the country singing her original soul music and currently sings with rap superstar Anderson Paak.
Also in the band is a Laguna native, keyboardist Dan Reckard, guitarist Jamey Arent and drummer Sam Brawner.
Singers Open the American Songbook
Dave Damiani and the Instigators celebrate Louis Armstrong and Frank Sinatra Wednesday, Aug. 31, as part of the Laguna Beach Live! series at Hotel Laguna, 425 S. Coast Highway.
Damiani and his band team up with trumpeter Bijon Watson to perform their fresh classic jazz arrangements of the popular music of the Armstrong Sinatra era.

Concert Bids to Revive the Soul
Musical trio Kirtan Soul Revival will perform in concert and explore chanting, music, and dance at 7 p.m. at the Neighborhood Congregational Church, Sunday, Sept. 4.
A suggested donation of $10 will benefit music programs at the church, 340 St. Anne’s Dr.
