Greg Bartz, a 30-year Laguna Beach police officer, died May 1, at his home in Madison, Conn. He was 61.
Bartz, who apparently was battling health issues, was recently hospitalized. He retired as as a sergeant in 2004 after serving more than three decades with the department.
