Great article on The Ranch (“New Era Unfolding in Aliso Canyon,” May 23 edition) Still, I’m bummed about no through-trail for hikers/bikers. I hike the Aliso Creek Ridge Trail regularly, longing to see a through-trail at the bottom of the canyon. That entire watershed is so culturally and environmentally rich that it seems a shame there is not a better, more enlightened plan for public amenities and restoration of the creek and estuary.
