Historical Society Unveils New Photos

The public is invited to the Laguna Beach Historical Society’s program about recently acquired historic images, which takes place Tuesday, April 30, at 7:30 p.m. at the Laguna Beach City Hall Council Chambers, 505 Forest Ave.

The program will be videotaped and is to be televised on the local Cox Cable channel 30.

For Heritage month in May, the society’s program on Tuesday, May 28, will focus on the “History of Negotiations 1990 Save Laguna Canyon Bond Measure G.” A panel discussion will be led by former Mayor Paul Freeman and Planning Commissioner Norm Grossman.

Treasurer Gene Felder’s new book, “Then & Now Laguna Beach,” with co-author Foster J. Eubank, will be the subject of a the society’s Tuesday, June 25 program.

The society welcomes new members: $15 per individual, $25 per household or $50 per business at 278 Ocean Ave.
