Watch and listen for the Laguna Beach Girl Scouts as they sing in the holidays Friday, Dec. 12, from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Driven by Santa Claus, who traded in his sleigh for a Laguna trolley, scores of local Girl Scouts will be on board to sing holiday carols while they traverse the streets downtown for the community’s listening pleasure.

Please stop and listen and join in!

 

Chorale Performs Christmas Music 

St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church invites the public Friday, Dec. 12 to “A Merry Little Christmas,” a free 7 p.m. holiday concert performed by the master chorale of Saddleback Valley and directed by Charles Stephenson.

The concert takes place at the church, 1042 Temple Terrace Dr.

The Laguna Tunes free holiday concert takes place at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 19, at the Artists’ Theatre.

The public is invited to join this spirited ensemble bubbling with holiday enthusiasm.

Chabad Jewish Center plans a trio of Hanukah events over the next week culminating with a public menorah lighting on Main Beach, Sunday, Dec. 21 at 2 p.m.

The first event, on Sunday, Dec. 14, takes place in a private home and focuses on how essential oils can support physical and emotional well-being.

A 5 p.m. dinner Friday, Dec. 19, serves as culinary tour of Shabbat cuisine from Mexico, Morocco, and Greece.

The menorah lighting at the cobblestones marks the sixth night of Hanukah and will also include live music, dancing, street performers, dreidel cookie decorating and latkes.

Sing-Along Tunes Up in the Garden

Here’s a chance to join in holiday cheer in the South Laguna Community Garden with a sing-along from 3-5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 14.

Bring treats to share, your voices and instruments.

The garden is located at Eagle Rock Way and Coast Highway.
