Adam Neeley, 31, has been making jewelry for half of his life. His pendant design “South Sea Glow,” came to him in a dream, he says.

In the piece, which has won awards, color is graduated in both pearl and metal along an undulating line.

Neeley developed a technique he named “Spectra,” gold comprised of seven different tones from rich yellow to cool white, which takes 40-50 hours to produce.

Neeley, graduated from rock-collector to silversmith’s apprentice and then to producing and selling his own creations at art shows around his home state of Colorado. He went on to study at the Gemological Institute of America and the jewelry academy, Le Arti Orafe in Florence, Italy.

Adam Neeley Fine Art Jewelry, 352 North Coast Highway specializes in one-of-a-kind bridal styles and custom jewelry creations. Neeley has been a proud member of the Laguna Beach art community since 2006.
