Sanjiv Bhattacharya, author of “Secrets and Wives: The Hidden World of Mormon Polygamy,” will read an excerpt on Friday, Aug. 5 at 6 p.m. at Laguna Beach Books, 1200 S. Coast Highway.
Bhattacharya will also answer questions and sign copies. The author exposes his personal journey through the world of modern polygamists and grapples with difficult questions about marriage, monogamy, and the very nature of faith.
Bhattachaya, a British journalist based in the United States, is a former features editor and current contributing editor for British GQ.
