Art-A-Fair held its annual jury day earlier this month and more than 100 artists submitted artwork in consideration for admission to this summer’s festival.
Twenty-three were ultimately selected for the roster of 125 artists accepted to join Art-A-Fair’s show, June 24 – August 28, on Laguna Canyon Road.
An eight-person jury, comprised of professional fine artists and master crafts-persons, reviewed artist work in an array of mediums and awarded points based on excellence in conception, execution and presentation.
“This year’s competition was high, due to the impressive work submitted by the artists and the limited number of spots available,” said Joyce Kasprzyk, the show’s marketing vice president. “We look forward to a remarkable collection.”
