Mystery writers Cara Black and Libby Fischer Hellmann will visit the Laguna Beach Library at 3 p.m. on Thursday, March 17, to discuss their writing, answer questions, and sign their newest mysteries.
Cara Black’s series of mysteries stars private investigator Aimee Leduc and the city of Paris. Beginning with “Murder in the Marais,” and continuing through the newest installation, “Murder in Passy,” Black brings her heroine to life through a range of personal and political investigations.
Closer to home, Hellman’s two Chicago-set series feature private investigator Georgia Davis and movie producer Ellie Foreman. Her latest book, “Set the Night on Fire,” is a standalone thriller spanning a generation, from current day Chicago to the tumult of 1960s protests.
