The Orange County Business Journal and Cal State Fullerton’s Family Business Council honored Laguna Beach-based MacGillivary Freeman Films at an awards ceremony last month.
The awards recognize family-owned businesses for their success and longevity, family involvement and contributions to their industry. The film company is the world’s foremost independent producer and distributor of giant-screen 70 mm films and its founders began the One World One Ocean campaign, which seeks to restore the ocean to a wild and healthy state.
