Members of the Laguna Beach Lawn Bowling Club, retired Los Angeles County firefighters Bob Leach and Gil Gillespie, will be participating in the World Police and Fire Games in Northern Ireland Aug. 7-9.
The biennial contest for active and retired police, fire, prison and border security officers began Aug. 1. Athletes from over 60 countries will compete in 56 sports at 41 venues.
