Jason Farthing, Macarena Rivera and Jesse Boden, known as The Budrows, will perform a hometown record release show of their new album, “No Bad Whiskey” at the Marine Room Tavern, 214 Ocean Ave., at 9 p.m. on Thursday, June 18.

With Farthing on his gas can banjo and cigar box guitar and Boden playing harmonica and flute the band rounds out its rock sound rooted in country and blues with Rivera’s vocals and washboard percussion.

The concert is free.

The group also performs in downtown Laguna Beach Saturday, June 20, during Fete de la Musique, where musicians of every genre break into song under storefront eaves and unlikely public spaces.
