Tickets are on sale for the seventh annual Laguna Hero Fest, celebrating women muses, artists and activists with a presentation of filmed oral histories from 7-10 p.m. on Friday, March 14, at Seven Degrees.

Receiving the community hero award are biologist Nancy Caruso and community activist Mary Fegraus, honored as co-founder of the Laguna Canyon Foundation and Laguna Beach Community Foundation.

An afternoon program for kids, 3:30 – 5 p.m., will show footage of international heroes and a video about the community heroes. It will also include a student performance of “Vision,” an original song by Wendy Milette, co-founder, along with Jeanne Meyers of the My Hero film festival.
