Future residents, their families, supporters and volunteers from Transition Laguna all pitched in with shovels in hand to plant flowers, vegetables and trees at Laguna Beach’s Glennwood House last Saturday, June 8.
The residence for young adults with developmental disabilities expects to open next month. Its residents will participate in maintaining the garden and enjoy its bounty, says a statement from the Laguna Beach Community Foundation, which maintains a fund supporting Glennwood’s capital campaign.
The foundation and the Massen Greene Foundation helped fund the garden, along with contributions from others, including Laguna Nursery.
