The “25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee,” a musical comedy portraying six spelling bee rivals, will have nine performances at No Square Theatre’s Legion Hall beginning July 22.
The show at 384 Legion St. runs weekends through Aug. 7, Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. Tickets are $25 and $35, must be purchased in advance and are available at nosquare.org.
Trio Performs Tribute to Jazz Icons
Graham Dechter, Katie Thiroux and Matt Witek pay tribute to jazz icons Barney Kessel, Ray Brown and Shelly Manne at the Rose Garden, Hotel Laguna, on Wednesday, July 20, part of the Laguna Beach Live! summer series.
The outdoor Rose Garden offers table service and beverages. Concerts are 6 p.m. and the doors and kitchen open at 5 p.m.
Tickets can be purchased online for $25 for table seating and $20 for regular seating at lagunabeachlive.org or at 800-595-4849. Reservations are accepted until noon on day of concert or until sold out. Tickets at the door are $25-30.
