The Chamber of Commerce’s new president, Larry Nokes, was sworn in and the organization’s Spirit winners announced during a presentation on Jan. 31.
The chamber’s other officers and board members include president-elect Gregg Abel, as well as Debbie MacDonald, Aaron Talarico, Todd Orlich, Michael Kinsman, Chris Keller, Julie Cimpko, Michael Beack, Ken Fishbeck and Kate Buckley.
Nokes and former member John Campbell presided, recognizing outgoing board members Michelle Clark and Gerry Perez. Nokes also acknowledged the new executive director, Tamara Campbell, along with the other board members he will serve with.
Spirit of Laguna awards, in numerous categories, were presented to Whole Foods, The Cliff, Buy Hand, Costal Eddy, Laguna Nursery, Mark Orgill, Nokes and Quinn Lawyers, KX 93.5, Michael Kinsmen, Wendy Potter, Alan Mansoor, Larry Bammer, and Julie Cimpko.
