The Laguna Beach Alliance for the Arts will hold its 10th annual Art Star Awards at 6 p.m. on Sunday, April 3, at Seven Degrees, 891 Laguna Canyon Rd.
Nominees include Laguna Beach Live!, Laguna Dance Festival, LOCA, LCAD and Laguna Art Museum, Pat Sparkul, Malcolm Warner and Tom Swimm among others.
The corporate arts patron winner is Montage Laguna Beach, and Jim and Suzanne Mellor will receive the individual arts patron award, says a statement.
Ken Auster will be remembered with an Art Stars Award for Lifetime Achievement in recognition of his accomplishments as an artist and an inspiring teacher who had a profound impact on the arts community.
A highlight of the evening will be last year’s grant recipient, Delyer Anderson presenting her dance project “The Film We Made/The Book I Didn’t Need To Write.”
