Several local businesses are accepting donations of discarded cell phones for the benefit of a rural school in Nepal established by Laguna Beach-based R Star Foundation and its founder, Rosalind Russell.
Laguna Beach collection sites include: Robert McGraw Architects, 305 N. Coast Highway; Laguna Presbyterian Church, 415 Forest Ave.; Buy Hand boutique, 1570 S. Coast Highway; Sound Spectrum, 1264 S. Coast Highway; and Laguna Coffee, 1050 S. Coast Highway.
