A reception with Barbara McDonald a former trial attorney and The Cove Gallery’s artist of the month will be held from 6-9 p.m. during Art Walk on Thursday, Oct. 1. The cove is located at 1492 South Coast Highway.
McDonald uses a plasma cutter to cut, carve and texturize steel sculptural elements, which she then mounts, often in layers, on painted cradled boards.
An Art-A-Fair artist, McDonald has also shown at the Carlsbad Art Gallery and other galleries and venues around San Diego County.
Patron Picks Are On Display
Patron Picks is currently on view at the Festival of Arts Gallery on the third floor of the Wells Fargo Bank Building, 260 Ocean Ave. Pieces in the show were selected by ballots filled in by patrons who visited Festival of Arts this summer.
