Tamara Campbell was appointed executive director of Laguna Beach’s Chamber of Commerce, succeeding Kristine Thalman, who left the post after three years earlier this month.

Campbell, a local resident and former member of the city’s Heritage Committee, has experience representing business interests and engaging in political action.

“We are confident that Tamara’s skills and experience will serve the Chamber of Commerce well,” said Larry Nokes, president of the 350-member organization.
