A Hero to Unsung Heroes is Honored
Laguna local Jeanne Meyers, co-founder and director of My Hero Project, won an award as web content director from cable industry magazine CableFax.
CableFax honors top executives who display innovation and progress.
The nonprofit Meyers helped establish online brings together students and adults in more than 195 countries to share stories, art, music and films.
“There is magic in this project, and it comes in the form of gratitude from the unsung heroes we shine a light on…,” said Meyers.
