New Officer Takes Animal Service Calls
Christopher Holub began responding to calls about intruding coyotes and injured pelicans as the city’s new animal services officer on Tuesday, Sept. 22.
Holub’s career began in 2011 as a volunteer with the Selma, Calif., police department, where he was subsequently hired to handle animal control and other duties. Last year, the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Department hired Holub as an animal services officer.
