Local Lawyer Recognized Most Influential
Laguna local Bill O’Hare has been selected for inclusion in the Orange County Business Journal inaugural edition of the OC 500 List, “ a compendium of Orange County’s most influential,” says the Journal’s publisher Richard Reisman.
O’Hare was recognized with other honorees recently.
As the administrative partner in the Orange County offices of Snell & Wilmer, O’Hare’s practice is concentrated in commercial litigation, arbitration and mediation. He has received numerous awards over the past 12 years.
Water District Honors Retiring Director
Richard “Dick” Dietmeier, who did not seek re-election to the South Coast Water District board, is retiring after 14 years.
As a director of the district that serves the communities of Dana Point, South Laguna Beach, and portions of San Clemente and San Juan Capistrano, Dietmeier served as president for three consecutive years.
His accomplishments included initiating televised board meetings, championing water conservation and recycled water use. He led efforts to diversify water supplies via groundwater and ocean desalination, and supported preventive maintenance, and capital improvements.
He supported customer services including monthly billing, online services and automated meter reading.
