Two-time Emmy Award-winning actress Loretta Swit (of television’s “M*A*S*H”) breathes life into one of history’s most intriguing and longest-serving first ladies in “Eleanor Roosevelt, Her Secret Journey,” at the Laguna Playhouse for just four performances.

The play, which opens Thursday, Nov. 3, portrays a woman who brought warmth and compassion to issues of war, peace, and human rights..

The box office at 606 Laguna Canyon Road is open Mondays – Saturdays, noon to 5 p.m. and until show time on performance days.

   Mozambique Hosts Hip Band

An Orange County blues-rock band, Papermoon Gypsys, will be performing at Mozambique Steakhouse, 1740 S. Coast Highway, on Wednesday, Nov. 2.

The band will likely be performing songs from their newest recording, “Long Road.” Showtime is at 8 p.m., and admission is $5.
