The Laguna Playhouse’s Motown-themed gala is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 23, at the Resort at Pelican Hill in Newport Beach and organizers are still seeking sponsors.
Proceeds raised during this event will go towards helping sustain The Laguna, a 93-year-old icon and the oldest continuing operating theatre west of the Mississippi.
The $200 a person evening will feature a dinner, dancing to a live band, a performance by the Laguna Playhouse Youth Theatre Program, live auction, silent auction, and raffle prizes.
Motown era attire is encouraged.
