Project is Too Costly

Editor,

(This letter was also sent to council members.)

I am a 43 year resident of Laguna Beach.  I am 47.

This village entrance is an absurd, overpriced ridiculous project that needs to be voted on!

I pay over $12,000 in property taxes and do not need any more on top of that.

Isn’t our town at its max occupancy?

Why do we need to squeeze more people in here?

How about making it easier for businesses to stay open in town and do business?

The rim fire cost California $65 million to fight for two weeks. That is the state. We are a small town.

Way too much money; not needed. Will be ugly. Not safe to shove more people into an already compacted small town!

That is it.
