Laguna Beach residents, cancer survivors and their supporters converge on El Morro Elementary School for the 10th annual Relay For Life fundraiser on Saturday, Aug. 6.

It’s not too late to support the battle against cancer by making a pledge online or showing up to cheer teams that start circling the field for 24 hours non-stop shortly after the 10 a.m. opening ceremony.

Besides an array of live musical performances throughout the day and evening, participants can join in various games, a watermelon eating contest, take in a midnight movie or a yoga class before a final 10 a.m. lap Sunday. As of August 8, 247 participants of 25 teams have raised $20,590.
