Alas the Laguna Beach City Council is spending $30,000 to repair the “creek bed” near the city animal shelter (“Animal Lovers Fund Shelter Makeover,” April 15).
What about the creek as it runs further east? No $$$$ for this part of the creek that was responsible for major damage to houses along its side.
Someone please film this area since it needs fixing too.
Does the city care about residents living along the creek or the school? I don’t think so.
The “creek” running east from the shelter has had little or no improvements since time began.
