Revisiting the Greeters in Laguna History

Filmmaker and resident Martin Yewchuk will discuss the history of the Laguna Beach greeter in a Laguna Beach Historical Society will host a program at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22 at Laguna Beach City Hall.

Yewchuk will show clips from his Elestial Productions film titled, “The Greeter Documentary,” about the eclectic characters that have filled the role.

He will be selling the DVD for $15 that also includes new footage of the town’s best known greeter, Eiler Larsen, ahead of its official Nov. 29 release date.
