Donation Collection Begins for Holiday Party
Low-income families who live and work in Laguna Beach will enjoy some holiday cheer at the Woman’s Club on Saturday, Dec. 12.
By 3:30 p.m., the clubhouse will be filled with good used clothing, bedding, toys and household necessities donated by the community. For over 20 years, the club has sponsored the party where families choose what they need at no cost.
Santa will also be on hand to visit with the children. The families are always grateful for a bit of extra help as their work hours are often less in winter months, organizer Marshe Bode says.
Donations may be dropped at the club, 286 St. Ann’s Dr., from 2:30 to 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 11, and from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, only.
