I am a stand up paddle board instructor and owner of SUP Fitness Laguna. I give lessons in Fisherman’s Cove.
These past couple weeks have been amazing conditions for SUP ing. Not only has the ocean been calm and perfect to learn how to paddle board, but the seals are out in full force at Seal Rock.
If you have never been out Paddle boarding, now is the time to frolic with the seals. The mother seals like to pose for you by sticking their fin and head out of the water at the same time.
My customers are going crazy with delight, and I think all Laguna folks need to experience a close up with our local sea lions.
