Setting the Pace

Scores of kids participated in Laguna Beach’s annual youth track meet on Friday, March 22, including Calvin Capelle. His time of 2:43 in the Division 4 boys 800 meter smashed the city record of 2:58, held since 2004 by Joseph Rosseau, according to recreation supervisor Thomas Toman.
