The Laguna Beach High School senior class of 2012 will perform the 24th annual Shap Show, “No Suits Allowed,” on Saturday, Feb. 11 at 7:30 p.m. at LBHS Artists Theatre. The 2012 graduation committee hopes this special one-night event will help them achieve their goal of raising about $20,000 so that all graduating seniors will be able to attend the Safe and Sober Grad Night after their graduation.

The iconic Shap Show features the talents of numerous LBHS students and assorted staff, accompanied by LBHS math teacher, and event namesake, Gary Shapiro with his acoustic guitar. A pre-event dinner will also be held from 5 to 6 p.m. at Asada restaurant, 480 S. Coast Highway.

All proceeds from the concert and pre-show dinner will benefit the LBHS class of 2012 Safe and Sober Grad Night.

Regular tickets for the concert go on sale at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 11, at $10 for students and $15 for adults. There is a four-ticket maximum per person purchase, and in the past years the event has sold out. A limited number of advanced tickets can be purchased until Feb. 6 in the reserved section for $30 or with the Asada pre-Show dinner package for $60.

To purchase tickets, mail your reservation to Kerry Rubel at 21511 Anns Lane, Laguna Beach, CA  92651, or visit the LBHS website to find an order from in the “For Seniors” section on the bottom right.  For more info, contact Kerry Rubel at [email protected].
