Children born since 2000 have less than a month to train for the city’s boys and girls track meet. The starting gun fires on Friday, March 20, from 5-8 p.m. at the Laguna Beach High School track.
Kids who live in town or attend Laguna public schools are eligible to compete in the traditional track and field events such as the 100-yard dash and long jump. Participants may enter a maximum of three events. The top four finishers in each age division and event are eligible to compete at the Orange County Track Meet in early May.
