Significant Beach Clean Up Worked

A total of 70 volunteers, including 25 teens and staff from the Boys & Girls Club, as well as Laguna native James Pribram, Hearts of Montage resort employees, Zero Trash and One World One Ocean activists took part in California Coastal Cleanup day.

Beginning at the Montage resort, the kids, staff, and others fanned out to surrounding beaches and were able to collect mostly recyclable trash. Teens recorded every item, which will become part of the Ocean Trash Index that conveys how much trash is found on coastlines all over the world.
