Boys Soccer (2-7-7, 0-6-3)

Breakers lost to Costa Mesa 1-0 Wednesday, Feb. 3; tied Saddleback 2-2 on Friday, Feb. 5, at the Roadrunner campus; and were thrashed by Estancia 3-0 on Tuesday, Feb. 8, at Scott Field. Laguna’s last game of the season was held this past Thursday, Feb. 11, at Guyer Field when the Breakers were host to last place Calvary Chapel (1-14-3, 0-7-1).

 

Girls Soccer (11-5-3, 6-2-1)

Breakers are set for the playoffs for the fifth straight season, but the league title remained up for grabs entering the final regular season match this past Wednesday, Feb. 10, with Calvary Chapel (11-3-5, 6-0-3). Estancia (6-1-2) was at fourth place Godinez (10-5-5, 4-5) in the other match with title implications. Laguna will find out next Monday, Feb. 15, if they will host a playoff match this season. Last week Laguna was held to a scoreless tie with Costa Mesa (2-16-2, 0-7-2) in a match played on Tuesday, Feb. 2, at Guyer Field. Breakers bounced back on Thursday, Feb. 4, to defeat Saddleback (2-15-3, 0-7-2) 4-0 to stay in the race. On Monday, Feb. 8, the Breakers fell at Estancia 2-1.
