Laguna Beach singer-songwriter Cheryl Procaccini’s CD “Everything is Connected and Other Animal Songs for Kids” earned a Parent’s Choice award from Parents’ Choice Foundation, a consumer guide to children’s media.
Procaccini’s 12-song CD celebrates the diverse world of animals, plants and their habitats. The collection of nature inspired songs is intended to prompt young listeners to start thinking about the world around them, said Procaccini, aka Birdsong, also an educator and family therapist who has been entertaining children with songs about nature’s “great big web of life” since 2005.
