St. Catherine students mark the 10-year anniversary with an act of renewal.

St. Catherine of Siena Parish students honored those who lost their lives 10 years ago in the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks by planting a memorial garden, with a seed for each victim, on their campus.

The school’s leader, Michael Letourneu, told students, family and faculty on Monday, “today let’s all plant a seed in ourselves that can grow into acts of kindness. This is the best tribute to those heroes”.  The garden of California native wild flowers will grow at the base of the school flag.
