The Community Art Project presents a 40-year retrospective of etchings and three-dimensional works by artist and poet Laura Stickney and hosts an 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. reception Saturday, Oct. 17, at the Wells Fargo Bank gallery, 260 Ocean Ave.
The artist’s images are inspired by pods, leaves, patterns, figures and faces. She also honors early 20th century women poets and beekeepers.
The show runs through Dec. 28.
