Tuesday, Nov. 20
Traffic stop. 12:15 a.m. Agate St. A 45-year-old Laguna Beach man was cited for DUI and held for $2500 bail.
Traffic collision. 2:50 a.m. 20600 Laguna Canyon Rd. A 37-year-old Laguna Beach woman was arrested for DUI after a witness reported that a vehicle rammed a curb. Vandalism. 7:42 a.m. 3200 block of Alta Laguna Blvd. A red swastika symbol and the word “lotus” was discovered on a sidewalk.
Skateboard violation. 10:30 a.m. 200 block of Broadway St. Joshua Michaellee Miles, 26, of Dana Point, was cited for not wearing a helmet and skateboarding downtown, both municipal code violations, as well as outstanding bench warrant violations for DUI and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana. Bail was $15,000.
Traffic stop. 11:28 a.m. 100 block N. Coast hwy. Christian Adrian Fahringer, 20 Fallbrook, was cited for suspicion of possessing marijuana and a hydrocodone prescription that did not belong to him. Bail was set at $20,000.
Shots fired. 8:48 p.m. 1200 block of Temple Terrace. Police found that someone used firecrackers to blow up a mailbox. No suspects were located.
Wednesday, Nov. 21
Traffic stop. 12:42 a.m. Forest Ave. A 25-year-old man was cited for DUI and held for $2500 bail.
Petty theft. 1:16 p.m. 200 block of Forest Ave. A 20-year-old Laguna Niguel man was arrested after allegedly swiping cough syrup from a pharmacy.
Fraud. 2:10 p.m. 500 block of Through St. Someone used the victim’s identity to open up an account. The loss is $243.
Fraud. 4:25 p.m. 1800 block of Del Mar Ave. A $45 withdrawal made from a victim’s account was not authorized.
Thursday, Nov. 22
Traffic collision. 1:30 a.m. 900 block of Laguna Canyon Rd. A 29-year-old Laguna Beach escaped injury after running her vehicle into a pole. She was nevertheless arrested for DUI and held for $2500 bail.
Traffic stop. 1:53 a.m. 700 block of S. Coast Hwy. A 43-year-old Oregon man was cited for DUI as well as an outstanding warrant and held for $4560 bail.
Traffic stop. 2:53 a.m. Broadway Pl. A 19-year-old San Clemente man was cited for DUI and held for $2500 bail.
Vandalism. 7:11 a.m. 200 block of S. Coast Hwy. A shattered restaurant window required boarding up.
Pedestrian stop. 12:43 p.m. 300 block of Forest Ave. Christopher William Lauriton, 38, a Laguna Beach transient was arrested for suspicion of burglary and held for $20,000 bail. Lauriton admitted to pilfering wine from a local market, whose management desired prosecution.
Friday, Nov. 23
Traffic stop. 2:38 a.m. Third St. A 56-year-old Laguna Beach woman was cited for DUI and held for $2500 bail.
Non-injury. 8:40 a.m. S. Coast Hwy. A 66-year-old Laguna Beach woman was arrested for DUI and held for $2500 bail.
Vandalism. 12:18 p.m. 21600 Treetop Lane. Three locks on campus gates were cut off twice in the last week. Police found no evidence of burglary.
Grand theft. 1600 block of S. Coast Hwy. 2:21 p.m. A guest says electronic gear worth $5,150 was taken from a hotel room.
Public intoxication. 30900 bock of Coast Hwy. 5:51 p.m. Following a report of a man offering to buy liquor for kids, Garret Thomas Walters, 45, of Los Angeles, was arrested for an outstanding airport code violation warrant. Bail was set at $100,000.
Saturday, Nov. 24
Occupied vehicle. 3:19 a.m. 30800 block of Coast Hwy. Jacob Edward Martinez, 20, of Long Beach, was cited for an outstanding drug warrant and held for $10,000 bail.
Fire. 10:31 a.m. Lagunita Dr. An esthetician using a light lamp accidentally ignited a blanket.
Traffic collision. 11:26 a.m. Forest Ave. A 39-year-old Corona del Mar bicyclist suffered a possible broken arm in a collision with a vehicle. He declined medical aid. No further details were available.
Petty theft. 11:53 a.m. 1200 block of Skyline Dr. A set of $1000 golf clubs was reported stolen.
DUI. 1:31 p.m. Temple hills Dr. Chelse Marie Brierley, 28, of Laguna Beach, was cited for suspicion of DUI and held for $10,000 bail due to a previous out of state DUI. Witnesses reported a vehicle speeding and going in and out of lanes.
Traffic collision. 8:49 p.m. 1600 block of Temple Hills Dr. Lilly Susan Delius, 50, of Laguna Niguel was arrested for suspicion of DUI after her vehicle plowed into a wall. Bail was set at $10,000 due to a prior offense.
Traffic stop. 10:41 p.m. Anita St. A 36-year-old San Clemente man was cited for DUI and held for $2500 bail.
Sunday, Nov. 25
Vehicle burglary. 1:27 p.m. 2500 block of Juanita Way. Someone broke into a vehicle in the past two days, taking the registration and attempting to steal the radio.
Fraud report. 2:52 p.m. 100 block of San Tropez Ct. An unknown suspect skimmed information from the victim’s credit card, making $1649 in unauthorized charges.
