Fraud. 10:16 a.m. 31300 block of Brooks St. A man who purchased a Maserati put his roommate’s name on the title.
Grand theft. 1200 block S. Coast Hwy. About $8,500 worth of jewelry was shoplifted from a table.
Burglary. 3:46 p.m. 30800 blk Coast Hwy. A new acquaintance split with the victim’s car, clothes, cell phone and $400 while sleeping.
Tuesday, Feb. 14
Vehicle burglary. 31700 block of Virginia Way. A cell phone and other items worth $270 was taken from an unlocked vehicle.
Theft. 4:54 p.m. 500 block of Mountain Rd. Loss is $300 in miscellaneous items from an unlocked vehicle.
Wednesday, Feb. 15
Suspicious person. 11:45 a.m. 700 block of Bolsana Dr. A male going door-to-door was trying to sell “tough job cleaning” carrying a small bottle with a homemade wrapper.
Rape. 2:09 p.m. 31000 block of Ceonothus Dr. A 21-year-old Saddleback College student confessed consensual sex with a 16-year-old at a Laguna home. Investigators will be following up.
Pedestrian hit. 4:03 p.m. Bluebird Canyon Dr. A vehicle hit a pedestrian, but no medics were needed.
Thursday, Feb. 16
Burglary. 2 p.m. 3000 block of Mountain View Dr. An owner in the middle of remodeling reported the loss of a $200 computer.
Theft. 4:33 p.m. Cliff Drive. Two bikes were stolen overnight from locked garage, a loss of $1050.
Found property. 5:52 p.m. 1400 block S. Coast Hwy. A resident who found a bindle of cocaine containing 3.3 ounces turned it over to police.
Warrant service 6 p.m. Andrew Edward Melkonian, 23, of Laguna Beach, was arrested for outstanding warrants. Bail was set at $20,000.
Traffic collision. 2:45 p.m. Coast Highway. A motorcyclist suffered minor injuries after failing to stop in time and rear ended a car.
Saturday, Feb. 18
Fight. 10:59 pm. 800 block of S. Coast Highway. Six males involved in a fight. Three are detained.
Traffic stop. 11:32 p.m. 200 block Laguna Ave. Tanya Mattison, 36, of Costa Mesa, was arrested for a felony bench warrant for burglary and drug possession after being pulled over for a traffic violation. Bail was set at $50,000.
Sunday, Feb. 19
Traffic stop. 12:13 a.m. Mountain Road. A 35-year-old San Clemente man was arrested for DUI and held for $2,500 bail.
Traffic stop. 12:41 a.m. A 25-year-old Downey man was cited for DUI and held for $2,500 bail.
Traffic stop. 1:46 a.m. Calliope St. Ayudthaya Somsukol Wattanachinda, 31, of Anaheim, was arrested for a felony Virginia bench warrant for credit card larceny and held without bail.
Traffic stop. 2:40 a.m. Boat Canyon A 26-year-old Cerritos man was cited for DUI and held for $2,500 baill.
Burglary. 1:44 p.m. 300 block Forest Ave. A suspect stole a $800 bracelet from a store yesterday.
Vehicle burglary. 5:33 p.m. 300 block Cliff Dr. A convertible top was slashed on Friday.
Traffic collision. 5:58 p.m. 800 block of S. Coast Hwy. Southbound lanes were blocked as a result of a two-vehicle collision. A 43-year-old Nevada resident was arrested for DUI and held for $2,500 bail.
Assist other dept. 6:41 p.m. 1400 blck Crescent Bay Inn. An ex-boyfriend assaulted a female and stole her vehicle. The sheriff’s department was to make the arrest.
Sexual battery. 7 p.m. 300 block of Broadway. Female bus driver was grabbed and kissed by a male at the depot. Sheriff’s deputies took a suspect into custody.
Monday, Feb. 20
Traffic collision. 5:37 a.m. 3200 blk Alta Laguna Blvd. A 16-year-old Mission Viejo boy was arrested for DUI after crashing into the park gate.
