Traffic stop. 2:04 a.m. Thalia Street. A 41-year-old Laguna Beach woman was arrested for DUI and held for $2,500 bail.
Fraud. 11:01 a.m. 31800 block of Coast Hwy. An employee of a physician is under investigation for allegedly forging the doctor’s signature on a prescription for herself.
Collision. 8:57 p.m. 1000 block of Noria St. Josephine Stuart Giroux, 75, of Laguna Beach was arrested for suspicion of hit and run and driving under the influence after hitting a mailbox as well as a parked vehicle and leaving the scene.
Wednesday, March 23
Traffic stop. 1:57 a.m. Beach St. A 59-year-old Laguna Beach man was arrested for suspicion of DUI and held for $2,500 bail.
Traffic stop. 11:02 a.m. 1900 Laguna Canyon Road. Ronald Lee Scruggs, 61, of Laguna Beach, was arrested for suspicion of felony forgery in altering car registration tags as well as driving unlicensed.
Vandalism. 12:56 p.m. 1200 block of Coast Hwy. A guest’s cat caused $5,000 in damage, which included carpets stained with urine and feces and shredded drapes.
Pedestrian stop. 5:09 p.m. 505 Forest Ave. A 49-year-old Laguna Beach woman was cited for DUI and held for $2,500 bail.
Sexual harassment. 9:24 p.m. 400 block of Park Ave. No details were provided about an incident under investigation.
Thursday, March 24
Probation search. 7:34 a.m. Foothill Ranch. As a result of a probation search, Christopher James Grier, 18, was re-arrested on suspicion of three new felony charges for possessing for sale marijuana, Ecstasy, cannibis, cocaine and mushrooms. Bail was set at $25,000.
Friday, March 25
Traffic stop. 2:15 a.m. Monterey St. A 32-year-old Laguna Beach woman was arrested for DUI and held for $2,500 bail.
Traffic stop. 2:49 a.m. 600 block of S. Coast Hwy. A West Covina man, 48, was cited for DUI and held for $2,500 bail.
Traffic collision. 12:55 p.m. 300 block of N. Coast Hwy. Two vehicles sustained minor damage and one driver, a 23-year-old woman, was cited for driving unlicensed. Bail was set at $2,500.
Warrant service. 1:29 p.m. Temple Hills Drive. Robert Balacek, 73, was taken into custody on a felony warrant due to a recent DUI arrest while on probation and driving with a suspended license. Bail was set at $100,000.
Suspicious. 2:39 p.m. Lewellyn Drive. Four people – a 20-year-old Aliso Viejo woman and three men nearly twice her age — were arrested for misdemeanor under the influence charges after residents reported suspicious cars in an area where syringes had been found. One of the men, Eric Christopher May, 38, of Laguna Beach, was also charged with alleged meth possession. Bail for him was set at $20,000.
Traffic stop. 4:26 p.m. Ocean Avenue. A Costa Mesa man, 63, was arrested for DUI and held for $2,500 bail.
Traffic stop. 6:30 p.m. 300 block of Cliff Drive. A 56-year-old San Diego man was arrested for DUI and held for $2,500 bail.

Traffic stop. 1:31 a.m. Catalina Ave. A 21-year-old Laguna Beach woman was arrested for DUI and held for $2,500 bail.
Traffic stop. 10:51 p.m. 400 block of Anita St. A 35-year-old Laguna Beach woman was arrested for DUI and held for $2,500 bail.
Traffic stop. 11:49 p.m. 200 block of Legion St. A 38-year-old Newport Beach man was arrested for DUI and held for $2,500 bail.
Sunday, March 27
Traffic stop. 1:26 a.m. Bluebird Canyon Dr. A 64-year-old San Juan Capistrano man was arrested for DUI and held for $2,500 bail.
Traffic collision. 5:16 a.m. N. Coast Hwy. A 22-year-old Laguna Niguel woman was arrested for DUI and held for $2,500 bail after plowing into a parked car and fence.
Vehicle burglary. 1:33 p.m. 300 block of San Tropez Ct. A GPS device was stolen from a vehicle and the passenger window smashed.
