Burglary. 1000 block Laguna Canyon Rd. 11:53 a.m. Someone broke into the club and stole cash $25 from the cash register.
Grand theft. 400 block of Nyes Place. 2:36 p.m. Several chairs valued at $6,000 were take from the driveway sometime after 11 a.m.
Vandalism. 4:13 p.m. 900 block of Summit Dr. A contractor threw a concrete hose on the hood of the truck, causing $1500 in damage.
Verbal threats. 31300 block of Monterey St. 9:19 p.m. A resident received a threatening phone call from a man, who threatened his life for dating a girlfriend.
Tuesday, July 24
Suspicious person. 5:45 p.m. 700 block of S. Coast Hwy. A 19-year-old was arrested and held without bail for a San Bernardino County warrant and violation of probation.
Wednesday, July 25
Vandalism. 12:37 a.m. 600 block of S. Coast Hwy. Daniel Leon Golschmann, 49, of Laguna Beach was arrested for suspicion of vandalism, making threats and battery after he allegedly threw a brick threw the window of a vehicle owned by a clerk he threatened. He also allegedly hit his 34-year-old girlfriend, from Edina, Minn., who also was arrested being under the influence of drugs.
Tagging. 8:38 a.m. Alta Laguna Park. Tagging was reported on the vents of water tower and reservoir.
Graffiti. Ninth Avenue. 9:25 a.m. Graffiti on stairs and on the electrical box.
Fraud. 10 a.m. 1100 block of Laguna Canyon Rd. A resident’s credit card was used fraudulently for $300 worth of transactions.
Fraud. 12-02808. 11:58 a.m. N. Stonington Rd. An unknown suspect opened three business credit card accounts using the information of a resident.
Occupied vehicle. Brooks St. 11:09 p.m. A 50-year-old man was cited for DUI and held for $2,500 bail.
Thursday, July 26
Graffiti. 10:11 a.m. El Camino Del Mar. Dark colored graffiti was spray painted on the side of a garage over night.
Traffic stop. Blue Lagoon. 1:16 p.m. Kayla Strehle, 21, Aliso Viejo, was arrested for suspicion of possessing methamphetamine after police searched her car following a stop for a traffic violation. Bail was set at $20,000.
Friday, July 27
Traffic stop. 1:31 a.m. 900 block Laguna Canyon Rd. A 27-year-old Aliso Viejo woman was cited for DUI and held for $2,500 bail.
Property. 7:35 a.m. A city employee found a large knife in the bushes at Main Beach.
Disturbance. 1000 block of Madison Place. 7:52 a.m. Ryan Scott Rambert, 32, of Laguna Hills was arrested for suspicion of felony vandalism and possession of a deadly weapon after using a weight on a rope to break a door, a window and a mailbox. Though he fled the scene, police arrested Rambert an hour later in the 300 block of Coast Highway.
Fraud. 600 block of Fontana Way. 9:28 a.m. A resident reported that someone hacked into his retirement account and attempted to move monies. The transfer never occurred.
Grand theft. Treasure Island Beach. 11:18 a.m. A beach bag which contained a $2,500 wedding ring was reported stolen two days earlier.
Traffic collision. 1100 block of Temple Hills Drive. 12:41 p.m. A 55-year-old woman was arrested for DUI and held for $2,500 bail.
Grand theft. 100 block High Dr. 2:32 p.m. A resident reported the theft of a diamond necklace worth $15,000. There is a named suspect in the incident
Saturday, July 28
Traffic stop. Thalia St. A 26-year-old Laguna Beach man was arrested for DUI and held for $2,500 baill.
Traffic stop. 2:23 a.m. Anita St. A 21-year-old Laguna Hills man was cited for DUI and held for $2,500 bail.
Reckless driving. Coast Hwy. A 44-year-old Laguna Hills man was cited for DUI and held for $2,500 bail.
Burglary. 12-02852. 400 block of Glenneyre St. 3:38 p.m. Theft of cell phone, two ipods and sunglasses, loss of $400.
Grand theft. 12-02854. 3:54 p.m. 700 block of S. Coast Hwy. A laptop valued at $2,500 was taken from a car trunk yesterday.
Vehicle burglary. PD. 5:22 p.m. A beach bag containing items valued at $500 disappeared.
Structure fire. 1200 block of S. Coast Hwy. 5:48 p.m. A hotel lobby and restaurant were evacuated due to light smoke. Management was advised to disconnect air conditioning for repairs.
DUI. 500 block of S. Coast Hwy. 6:27 p.m. A 20-year-old Tennessee resident was arrested for DUI after a citizen reported seeing her vehicle hit a car. Bail was set $2,500.
Fireworks. 8:11 p.m. Allview Terrace. Parents were called to pick up four kids setting off fireworks.
Bonfire. Alta Laguna Park. 10:41 p.m. Three teenage girls and a boy were cited for lighting a fire.
Sunday, July 29
Traffic stop. Fourth Avenue. A 24-year-old old Hawaii woman was arrested for DUI and held for $2,500 bail.
Traffic stop. Pearl St. 2:12 a.m. A 15-year-old from Illinois was cited for DUI and held for $2,500 bail.
Burglary. 800 block of Baja St. 3:46 p.m. A diamond watch, ring and gold watch are missing from a home; contractors are suspected.
Stolen vehicle. 10:12 p.m. Scott Yancey, 43, of Utah, claims he was bringing a golf cart back to a hotel, but he was arrested for suspicion of auto theft anyway and held for $20,000 bail.
Monday July 30
Found property. 12:35 a.m. 700 block of Catalina . Robert Lewis Pate II, 28, of Capistrano Beach, was arrested for suspicion of possessing methamphetamine and meth pipe after he returned to retrieve a forgotten backpack. The finder had already called police, who located a vehicle matching the finder’s description on Coast Highway. Bail was set at $20,000 bail.
DUI. 1100 block of S. Coast Hwy. 12:42 a.m. A 51-year-old Nevada woman was arrested for DUI and held for $2,500 bail.
