Vandalism. 9:46 a.m. 800 block of Balboa Ave. An unauthorized tree cutter caused $1,000 worth of damage to three trees and a deck.
Burglary. 1:22 p.m. 1000 block of Tia Juana St. About $8,000 worth of home electronics was stolen while the owner was away when contractors and someone claiming to be a niece were on the property.
Tuesday, April 12
Threats. 7:25 a.m. 1400 block of Terrace Way. An ex-boyfriend made threats about putting nude photos online.
Drugs. 8:41 p.m. 1400 block of Coast Hwy. John Carlos Montano III, 18, of Los Angeles, was arrested for suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance and being under the influence. Bail was set at $20,000.
Wednesday, April 13
Vehicle burglary. 1:56 p.m. 600 block of Catalina. Someone attempted to break into a vehicle where an iPod was visible.
Traffic stop. 3:48 p.m. 20600 block of Laguna Canyon Rd. Talmage Bartlett, 58, of Fullerton, was arrested for suspicion of methamphetamine possession. A search of the vehicle yielded 1.72 grams. Bail was set at $20,000.
Thursday, April 14
Suspicious. 6:55 p.m. 700 block of Laguna Canyon Rd. A 19-year-old female reported running off after a man offered her a ride and attempted to grab her. Police are unable to locate a suspect.
Friday, April 15
Traffic stop. 12:03 a.m. 700 block of Laguna Canyon Rd. Jodi Lynn Schlessel, 42, of Santa Ana, was arrested for suspicion of DUI and held for $10,000 bail due to a prior offense.
Vandalism. 1:24 a.m. 100 block of Crescent Bay Drive. Windows in a residence and a vehicle were broken.
Vandalism. 7:53 a.m. 21000 block of Castle Rock Dr. Three windows on a vehicle were reported shattered.
Traffic collision. 12:37 p.m. 3200 block of Laguna Canyon Road. Three vehicles were totaled in a collision that blocked inbound lanes.
Pedestrian stop. 7:10 p.m. 400 block of S. Coast Highway. A 15-year-old Laguna girl was cited for throwing pebbles at a moving vehicle by an officer who was driving by.
Pedestrian stop. 9:22 p.m. Aliso Dip. Garrett Thomas Walter, 44, of Oxnard, was arrested for two outstanding warrants and held for $30,000 bail after officers heard yelling in the brush.
Patrol check. 10:14 p.m. 100 block of S. Coast Hwy. Robert E. Wixom, 33, of San Jacinto, was arrested for an outstanding warrant and held for $15,000 bail when officers found him passed out on the beach.
Saturday, April 16
Traffic stop. 1:15 a.m. Cleo St. A 31-year-old Garden Grove man was arrested for DUI and held for $2,500 bail.
Traffic stop. 2:02 a.m. Cress St. Andres Flores, 23, of Aliso Viejo, was arrested for suspicion of DUI and held for $10,000 bail due to a prior offense.
Traffic stop. 2:05 a.m. 1300 block of N. Coast Hwy. A 45-year-old Nevada woman was arrested for DUI and held for $2,500 bail.
Traffic stop. 2:47 a.m. Coast Hwy. A 22-year-old San Juan Capistrano man was arrested for a vehicle code warrant and held for $2,500 bail.

Traffic stop. 1:40 a.m. 30600 block of Coast Hwy. A 54-year-old Aliso Viejo resident was arrested for DUI and held for $2,500 bail.
Traffic stop. 2:24 a.m. Glenneyre St. After drifting over double yellow lines, Jason Boyd, 27, of Costa Mesa, was arrested for alleged possession of an ecstasy pill and held for $20,000 bail.
Traffic stop. 3:35 a.m. Wesley Drive. A Nevada woman, 25, was arrested for DUI and held for $2,500 bail.
