Animal calls. Calle Aragon. 7: 19 a.m. A mother duck and babies are reported stuck in a storm drain in the sidewalk.

Drug activity. 200 block of Ocean Ave. 1:48 p.m. A citizen who reported two transients smoking pot in a parking lot resulted in the arrest of Alexander Pratt, 25, of Mission Viejo, for a felony burglary warrant.

Petty theft. 200 block of Forest Ave. 3:52 p.m. A $500 glass display case was taken off delivery truck.

Petty theft. 600 Park Ave. 4:19 p.m. At least four iPhones were stolen from the women’s locker room.

Grand theft. 100 block Cedar Way. 5:18 p.m. Luggage worth $14,000 was reported stolen during a trip on March 29.

Tuesday, April 29

Petty theft. 31600 block of Second Ave. 5:27 p.m. A $200 bench was stolen.

Indecent exposure. 200 block of Cliff Dr. 11:40 p.m. Richard John Winkle, 78, Laguna Beach, who allegedly was masterbating and asked another person if they “wanted to watch or join in” was arrested for indecent exposure and lying about his identity to police. The victim identified Winkle and signed a private person’s arrest.

Wednesday, April 30

Traffic collision. 200 block of Ocean Ave. 9:57 a.m. The driver of a Mercedes suffered neck pain after a hit and run collision with a large SUV, which tore off the car’s bumper.

Petty theft. 1300 block of Cliff Dr. 10:20 a.m. Items were taken from an unlocked vehicle.

Disturbance. 30800 block of Coast Hwy. 2:26 p.m. Two callers who reported a fight and teasing of a 20-year-old San Clemente woman resulted in felony arrests for suspicion of possessing prescription drugs illegally. James Alexander Summers-Smith, 21, of San Juan Capistrano, and Wyatt Walter Hess, 22, of San Gabriel, face drug charges, while the latter also was charged with suspicion of felony domestic violence.

Warrant service. 3600 block S. El Camino Real. 5:56 p.m. Jeffrey Ray Daum, 37, of San Clemente, was charged with allegedly possessing forged bills and stolen property as well as two outstanding warrants.

Thursday, May 1

Occupied vehicle. Cliff Dr. 2:25 a.m. Shareese Diana Moore, 23, Aulander, N.C., and Patrina Merola, 27, of Lemon, Calif, were arrested for suspicion of car theft. They were found in minivan they allegedly stole from an employer in December and had driven west.

Indecent exposure. Dumond Dr. 6:56 p.m. A 57-year-old Glendora man was cited for indecent exposure in a cove.

Found property. 600 block of Glenneyre St. 7:57 p.m. A tool box containing syringes was discovered in a planter.

Friday, May 2

Fraud report. 100 block of Monte Carlo Dr. 10 a.m. A resident suspects someone tapped 1 million airline miles tied to a credit card.

Burglary. 300 block of Broadway St. 10:30 a.m. About $300 was stolen from the register.

Detective activity. Canyon Acres Dr. 1:15 p.m. Troy Shane Jones, 47, of Laguna Beach, was arrested for misdemeanor drug charges as well as a felony burglary bench warrant.

Petty theft. 300 block of Coast Hwy. A trip to the beach by two Valley girls, 18 and 19, ended in jail after they were arrested for suspicion of petty theft, allegedly walking off with four swim wear pieces.

Suspicious person. Coast Hwy. 2:48 p.m. Male hiding in the bushes is filming girls in their bathing suits showering.

Petty theft. Tablerock Beach. 7:50 p.m. A phone taken from the beach was tracked to Dove Canyon.

Saturday, May 3

Traffic stop. Thalia St. 12:59 a.m. A 50-year-old Fountain Valley guy was arrested for DUI and held for $2500 bail.

Suspicious person. Dumond Dr. A 57-year-old Aliso Viejo man got popped for DUI and held for $2,500 bail.

Traffic collision. West St., 4:06 p.m. A bicyclist from Phoenix, who was possibly clipped by a mirror of a passing car, suffered a concussion, broken collar bone and abrasions. He could not remember events. No arrests were made.

Petty theft. Seacliff Dr. 5:12 p.m. A backpack containing $1,000 in valuables was taken from behind a gate.

Domestic violence. 20600 block of Laguna Canyon Rd. 8 p.m. Michael Thomas Gugliotta, 50, who resides at the ASL, was arrested for suspicion of felony domestic violence after allegedly ripping hair from a woman’s scalp. Bail was set at $50,000.

Citizen contact. 100 block of Cliff Dr. 10:17 p.m. Police determined Emily Marshall, 28, of Laguna Beach was the aggressor in an argument that left her boyfriend with severe scratches. She was charged with felony domestic violence and held for $50,000 bail.

Sunday, May 4

Traffic stop. 800 block of Glenneyre St. 1:47 a.m. A 24-year-old Dana Point man was cited for DUI and held for $2500 bail.

Vehicle burglary. 200 block of Coast Hwy. 3:28 a.m. A mirror was broken in a break-in.
