Grand theft. 28700 block of Top of the World. 8:54 a.m. Someone entered a home under construction and took tools valued at $3,000.
Burglary. 31300 block of Coast Hwy. 11:13 a.m. A $1,000 generator locked and in a secured area was removed from a home.
Tuesday, June 7
Pedestrian stop. Ocean Ave. 10:58 a.m. An officer who allegedly observed a drug exchange detained two men. Jayson Lee McGee, 49, of Laguna Beach, was arrested for suspicion of felony transportation of methamphetamine and Reese Westenberger, 51, was arrested for suspicion of misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance.
Grand theft. 31900 block of Coast Hwy. 3:47 p.m. A zip lock bag containing a go pro camera and wedding band disappeared from the beach yesterday.
Wednesday, June 8
Fraud. 500 block of S. Coast Hwy. 8:14 a.m. Someone duplicated a resident’s credit card info and made an unauthorized transaction at a store.
Fraud. 100 block of Rockledge terrace. 12:09 p.m. An unauthorized credit card was opened in the name of a resident.
Thursday, June 9
Occupied vehicle. 3200 block of Alta Laguna Blvd. 2:13 a.m. An 18-year-old from Newport Beach and two 16-year-olds, from Costa Mesa and Newport, respectively, were cited for pot possession after a search of their vehicle turned up a pipe and 300 grams of marijuana.
Traffic stop. 2200 block of Laguna Canyon Rd. 4 a.m. A 16-year-old from Anaheim was cited for a curfew violation and providing police false information as a result of a traffic violation. He was released to his father.
Fraud. 1300 block of S. Coast Hwy. 10:44 a.m. A credit card was opened in a resident’s name.
Disturbance. 100 block of S. Coast Hwy. 11:11 a.m. A fight broke out between three people, provoked by a confrontation over a bystander taking a picture of a granddaughter.
Petty theft. 200 block of Forest Ave. 12:59 p.m. A shoplifter took off with a $160 shirt.
Fraud. 900 block of Oriole Dr. 2:53 p.m. A resident noted the disappearance last December of $10,000 from a trust account.
Traffic stop. Jasmine St. 11:24 p.m. A 70-year-old Newport Beach man was cited for DUI.
Friday, June 10
Grand theft. 2400 block of S. Coast Hwy. 2:49 p.m. Construction equipment was taken from the property.
Petty theft. 600 block of Ramona Ave. 3 p.m. Two skim boards and lacrosse sticks were stolen.
Traffic stop. Catalina St. 11 p.m. A 30-year-old Santa Ana man was cited for DUI.
Traffic stop. 500 block of S. Coast Hwy. 11:50 p.m. A 53-year-old from Laguna Beach was arrested for DUI.
Saturday, June 11
Traffic collision. 300 block of Broadway St. 1:20 a.m. After plowing into a trash dumpster and abandoning their vehicle, Mamerton Gomez-Juarez, 25, of Lake Forest, was arrested for evading, DUI, driving with a suspended license and resisting arrest along with a warrant. His companion, 22, of the same city, was cited for resisting arrest.
Vandalism. 600 block of Vista Lane. 12:17 p.m. A thrown rock shattered a window, a $1,000 loss.
Drunk driving. City limits north. 2:57 p.m. A report of an erratic driver that had struck a parked vehicle prompted police to stop Julie Sabol, 54, of Fullerton, who allegedly kicked an officer. She was arrested for suspicion of DUI and battery on a police officer. Bail was set at $20,000.
Pedestrian stop. Pearl St. A 42-year-old Laguna Beach man was cited for being under the influence.
Pedestrian stop. 800 block of Glenneyre St. 8:33 p.m. Scott Foresman Armstrong, 53, of Laguna Beach, was cited for two warrants.
Drunk driving. 2200 block of Laguna Canyon Rd. 11:33 p.m. A 57-year-old Laguna Beach woman was cited for DUI.
Bar check. 400 block of S. Coast Hwy. Three 20-year-old girls, from Laguna Niguel, Tustin and Barrington, Ill., respectively, were cited for fake ids.
Sunday, June 12
Burglary. 200 block of Forest Ave. 7:46 a.m. A front window was broken though no entry was made.
Grand theft. 400 block of S. Coast Hwy. 10:21 a.m. Sunglasses valued at $1,000 disappeared from a car left with a valet.
Vehicle burglary. Jasmine St. 11:28 a.m. Valuables worth $500 were taken from a car where the passenger window was smashed.
Pedestrian stop. Thalia St. 7:11 p.m. Jeffrey Noon, 62, was cited for two warrants.
Warrant service. 1700 block of Laguna Canyon Rd. 9:35 p.m. Shawn Michael Stover, 38, of Santa Monica, was cited for three outstanding warrants.
Traffic stop. Legion St. 11:34 p.m. A 21-year-old Anaheim woman was cited for DUI.
