Petty theft. 600 block of Bluebird Canyon. 7 a.m. Someone rummaged through an unlocked vehicle during the night.
Fraud. PD. 9:41 a.m. A resident reported unauthorized credit card charges of $1,753 made in June at various San Diego area towns.
DUI. 1500 block of S. Coast Hwy. 4:11 p.m. Cesar Enriquez, 25, of Laguna Hills, was arrested for suspicion of felony DUI as a result of a rear-end collision that caused injury to his passenger, who was pregnant.
Disturbance. 20600 block of Laguna Canyon Rd. 6:32 p.m. Police called to a fight between two women arrested one of the combatants for multiple outstanding warrants.
Suspicious person. 2000 block of Ocean Way. 6:37 p.m. A 24-year-old from Sumter, S.C., was arrested for a municipal code violation for soliciting and two warrants.
Tuesday, Sept. 13
Grand theft. 800 block of Bluebird Canyon Dr. 10:40 a.m. A resident reported the theft of a vintage t-shirt valued at $10,000 and hair product.
Petty theft. 300 block of S. Coast Hwy. 2 p.m. A female shoplifter took $300 worth of merchandise and left in a white Mercedes.
Identity theft. Blue Lagoon. 5 p.m. Someone used the victim’s identity to open credit cards in her name.
Fraud. 100 block of Crescent Bay Dr. 6:25 p.m. Last month, the bank notified a customer that $63,000 had been withdrawn from his account.
Wednesday, Sept. 14
Medical. 400 block of Poplar St. 6:09 a.m. While fire personnel attended to a person with a suspected heroin overdose, police arrested Donald Eugene Leuschen, 38, of Laguna Beach, for outstanding warrants.
Petty theft. 200 block of Chiquita St. 6:58 a.m. Checks and other items were taken from an unlocked vehicle.
Burglary. 600 block of Vista Lane. 8:15 a.m. House keys, money and other items were taken from a car within a garage that had been opened.
Petty theft. 200 block of Grandview St. 8:56 a.m. A backpack and documents were taken from a car parked overnight on the street. There is no sign of forced entry.
Fraud. 1200 block of S. Coast Hwy. 10 a.m. A victim was scammed into purchasing a $500 gift card to pay for an English-learning program.
Petty theft. 2700 block of Laguna Canyon Rd. 11 a.m. Two bikes left on a front porch were stolen overnight. The resident spotted one of the bikes the next day at the homeless shelter, where police cited two men, for theft and receiving stolen property, respectively.
Thursday, Sept. 15
Grand theft. 300 block of Osgood Ct. 10:13 a.m. Someone entered an unlocked vehicle in a driveway and took valuables worth $1,775, including antique coins.
Vehicle burglary. 2700 block of Solana Way. 10:32 a.m. Thieves broke into a vehicle.
Warrant arrest. 20600 block of Laguna Canyon Rd. 10 p.m. Transient Brian Francis Hunter, 57, was arrested for two warrants.
Stranded motorist. S. Coast Hwy. 11 p.m. A 28-year-old Laguna Niguel man was arrested for DUI, driving a vehicle with a broken axle.
Friday, Sept. 16
Traffic stop. 200 block of N. Coast Hwy. 2 a.m. A 24-year-old Huntington Beach woman was cited for DUI.
Petty theft. 100 block of Thalia St. 11:48 a.m. A package containing a $399 Dyson vacuum cleaner was stolen from a front porch.
Fraud. 1200 block of Temple Terrace. 4:21 p.m. A resident received an email from Bloomingdale’s about an $1,800 charge to her account.
Fire. Nyes Place and Ashton Dr. 5:19 p.m. Fire personnel found a smoke bomb on the third floor of a five-story home under construction.
Suicide attempt. 100 block of High Dr. A 48-year-old Laguna Beach man was arrested for violating a restraining order subsequent to his informing police that his girlfriend had cut her throat. She told police a cut to her chin was due to a fall.
Saturday, Sept. 17
Traffic stop. Wesley Drive. 2:15 a.m. A 32-year-old Riverside woman was cited for DUI and driving with a suspended license.
Traffic stop. Canyon Acres. 2:43 a.m. A 21-year-old Irvine woman was cited for DUI and a high blood-alcohol level.
Traffic collision. Laguna Canyon Rd. 7:42 a.m. Three bicyclists suffered injuries, possibly due to concrete junks falling from a trunk.
Stolen vehicle. N. Coast Hwy. 12:37 p.m. Vince Thanh Pham, 50, of Fountain Valley, was arrested for suspicion of auto theft, behind the wheel of a vehicle owned by an employer.
Petty theft. 1500 block of Skyline Dr. 12:37 p.m. Boxes with contents worth $500 were stolen.
Sunday, Sept. 18
Traffic stop. 16-03824. Cardinal Drive. 2 a.m. A 37-year-old Rancho Santa Margarita woman was cited for DUI.
Traffic stop. 100 block of S. Coast Hwy. 3:52 a.m. A 33-year-old Sacramento man was cited for DUI.
